Press resources, campaign information, and media assets for the 1,000 Voices for Cancer Equity™ campaign.
1,000 Voices for Cancer Equity™ is a national listening campaign launched by United Colors of Cancer to collect the experiences, barriers, and triumphs of BIPOC cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers across the United States. By World Cancer Research Day (September 24, 2026), the campaign aims to collect 1,000 voices to establish the first national benchmark of BIPOC cancer experiences, with an extended goal of 1,500+ voices by December 31, 2026. The data will inform the inaugural State of BIPOC Cancer™ Report.
United Colors of Cancer is a national nonprofit advancing cancer equity by centering the voices, experiences, and health of communities of color navigating cancer. Through community listening, research partnerships, and public education, UCC works to dismantle systemic barriers and ensure every person affected by cancer has access to equitable care, information, and support.
